About Kristin

I grew up with the best of both worlds.  Although I was born and raised in Austin, TX, I spent nearly every weekend working cattle, climbing trees, and running free on our family ranch outside of the city.  I developed a deep love for agriculture at a young age, which led me to pursue a degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University in College Station.  After graduating in 2014, I went to work in Corpus Christi for Daniel Bluntzer, an accomplished analyst and economist. Daniel taught me the ins and outs of data analysis, as well as the world of trading.  Then, in 2021, I married my college love, Wes.  I moved back home to Austin, where I continue to conduct business as usual.  Please visit NFC Markets' website for more information about the company that I work with.

When I am not behind the computer screen, you will most likely find me outside, whether riding my horse, tending to our two chickens, or planting flowers.  My horse, Deuce, is my constant companion of twenty years.  We competed in barrel racing and pole bending from middle school through college, then he quasi-retired when I took the job in Corpus Christi.  Now, we enjoy trail riding and riding in Tesla commercials. Yes, you read that right. Deuce and I starred in the Texas Gigafactory’s Grand Opening Video; you can watch it on YouTube here.  My husband and I love to travel, cook, and spend time with our families.  By God’s goodness and grace, we are immeasurably blessed.
